Border Bearded Irises are essentially smaller versions of tall beardeds, reaching stalk heights of 16" to 27 1/2". They are perfectly sized for mid-border planting locations, and their shorter stalks stand up well in windy conditions. They bloom simultaneously with the tall beardeds.
